The Lord Patel of Bradford OBE
The Advisory Board provides strategic advice and guidance to further develop the IBG and its activities in the UK and India. The Board meets on a periodic basis and supports the IBG’s programme of exclusive events aimed at bringing together our strategic partners, clients and eminent leaders from across industry, trade and Government.
The Board is led by its Chairman, Lord Patel of Bradford OBE, who is a life peer in the House of Lords. Lord Patel has extensive experience of working on national and international projects across a diverse range of industry sectors, including; health, sports and higher education. He has led international initiatives and has brokered developments between statutory bodies, organisations and other regions, including India, Middle East and Africa. Lord Patel has held many advisory positions on national boards and was recently appointed as a Board Director to the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
